People's "Ah Ha" Moments
Self-Aware, Intentional & Mindful
Laura (mother) said:
I wanted to learn how to identify and focus my thinking in order to turn goals into reality. Identifying goals and going through the process of seeing what I will achieve made my goals real and attainable. Not only was the workshop beneficial for me, but my daughters, ages seven and eleven, benefited from going through the process. I wanted them to attend the workshop to teach them how to identify and think about their goals, with a process that they could use their whole life. The girls both enjoyed going through the steps of the workshop; they discovered that writing can help you set your goals, and seeing what you want can make it happen.

DISCovering Me & You
Had I not participated in DISC and been prompted in such a masterful way by Dr Sawyer to really consider the results, and what I honestly wanted for myself (both professionally and personally), I am confident that I would have quit my job only to find another position where I would have inevitably run into the same road-blocks. DISC helped show me exactly where I was and thus empowered me to take control of my life and the role I want to play in it so that I can be even more successful and confident doing whatever I choose for myself. I was able to identify the communication styles in my colleagues and social circles, thus allowing me to better navigate those relationships to help build healthier and more productive environments for everyone.
Ashley - Operations Manager
The people who attended Dr. JJ’s Friday Nite Live presentation should be talking to you and all their friends and neighbors with more empathy in our conversations! What we learned about effective communication, oh my! What was fascinating is we learned that all of us have a dominate style, but we all have the same four styles in us and we need to match the style of the person we are talking to in order to become a more effective communicator.
Eloise - Social Community President
Recently, I was promoted from my director position to a vice chancellor position at a university. My administrative role demanded more of a strong D presence, a space that was not my strongest area, and it was needed immediately.
Faced with the pandemic, the struggling cultural climate within our nation, and an unexpected promotion, I quickly needed to modify my leadership from an influencing and steady space to a more direct space. In addition, I was now leading and operating at the executive level where collaboration and leveraging strategic partnerships with my peers and leadership was essential to my onboarding and success.
I leaned into my ability to adapt in order to understand my peers and leaders, and I was able to see immediate improvements in how I engaged and connected with them. When time is limited and scope is vast, the ability to connect effectively is key. DISCovering My Leadership Style prepared me for a critical point in my career. I highly recommend taking the assessment, working with a coach and taking the assessment again as you progress in your career to see the development overtime.
Thank you, Dr. Sawyer!
Mirroring Your Vision

The biggest gift I got from participating in the Mirroring Your Vision process with Dr. JJ Sawyer was to finally get that I didn’t have to be perfect and always get things right to achieve my vision and goals in life and in my business.
I also now have a way to daily work at a deeper metaphysical level on achieving my dream, through applying the Power of 48 and the Magic of 68 processes. Thank you so much, JJ—what a gift you have given me!
I am a physician and work in an Emergency Department. I interact with a multitude of people everyday who have different experiences, emotional states, and often quite ill. I was curious to learn more about my communication style, and the best approach to those that have a different communication style. Since working with Dr. Sawyer, I could pinpoint certain patient doctor scenarios where I have used the insights and their attributes to better communicate with my patients.

Excuse Me Your Personality Is Showing
Mini Me Survey
When my husband and I completed the Mini Me Survey, we were excited to share our results with each other. Before sharing, we guessed what each other's results would be. During our lively discussion, we both learned new things about each other and about ourselves. For example, I was surprised to learn that my husband and I shared the same primary personality style but wasn't surprised at all to know that we both value accuracy, efficiency and integrity. I learned that while I believe it is clearly evident, my husband didn't know how memorable he is and how much people enjoy being around him. He then highlighted my strong need for exactness while I had rated that factor very low (for some unknown reason). He is absolutely correct!
We were so enthusiastic that we scheduled a Zoom meeting with Dr. Janet Sawyer to discuss our results and dig deeper. It was one of the most insightful and intimate conversations we've had. Our adult children are completing the survey. I can't wait to see their results and to share ours with them! I already know that what we learn about ourselves and each other will be invaluable.

Discovering Me and You Creating a Culture of Kindness and Peace, is fantastic! It is a step-by-step guide to help you truly understand one another with great exercises to put your new skills to the test.
As a mother I feel this is a monumental step to take with our children to teach them how to create friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime. While reading through the workbook with my child, I realized that I was demonstrating bullying behaviors with my friends. The book just wasn't good for my son to read, it was definitely an eye opener for me as well! This book is a must read for parents and their children. I am going to gift it to one of my friends who is having a few bullying challenges with their child. Thanks JJ!
